The final agreement for ending the conflict and building a stable and lasting peace is no different to others that have been signed in other peace processes around the world. Between 1975 and 2011, a total of 216 peace agreements have been subscribed, each of them, with criteria of regulation in justice, behavior, territory, implementation and governmental relations. This article seeks to analyze the relationship between the agreement reached in Colombia and those carried out in other parts of the world; in addition, it seeks to establish the probability of persistence of the conflict according to the way in which the agreement was structured in its version from November 2016.
