Abstract

Informality has been recognized as one of the greatest obstacles to closing the gap of inequality in our Colombian society. In this sense, this article aims at achieving the identification of the variables that most affect the work of the population of shopkeepers in the localities of Kennedy and Ciudad Bolívar in Bogotá, understanding their work as a type of informal employment due to its characteristics.

Taking this into account and from the descriptive statistics, we seek to recognize the average point of the most significant data collected in the survey that was carried out together with the Secretariat of Economic Development of Bogotá in its project «Store for All».
