Abstract

Ubiquitous learning, rather than a phenomenon of technology, is a vision that challenges the academic community to the revision of the educational environment in order to propose new learning scenarios, since it allows to make available a great diversity of resources to students, create new and varied training environments, personalize learning, and enable the implementation of a set of training activities that are adapted according to the profile and learning context.

This paper presents a scheme of personalization of recommendation services in ubiquitous contexts for learning applications, considering aspects such as: learning objects according to points of interest, personalized learning paths, closer points of interest, expert advice, and collaboration between peers. The proposed personalization scheme was designed from an architecture that encompasses four dimensions: models, ontologies, software components, and the outside world.
