Abstract

The findings presented in this paper address the discoveries related to knowledge transfer and its obstacles within the research program for social reconstruction in post-conflict areas in Colombia. The analysis focused on various variables defining this process and employed a theoretical framework as the basis for applying an assessment tool. The study centered on the perceptions of 68 research professors who support communities affected in the regions of Sucre, Choco, and Caldas, covering social, educational, entrepreneurial, and ecosystem aspects, among others. A qualitative methodology with a descriptive and correlational approach was used, excluding bibliometric analysis. The results reveal specific obstacles hindering effective knowledge transfer, including a lack of awareness about calls for proposals and sources of financial support, difficulties in adopting new technologies, a limited culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the absence of institutional management systems. Understanding these obstacles is crucial for enhancing the effectiveness of the social reconstruction program in conflict-affected zones. Strategies must be devised to overcome these challenges, such as providing clearer information on funding opportunities and promoting the adoption of innovative technologies. Additionally, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation could facilitate the effective transfer of knowledge among the different stakeholders involved in the program.
