Dissimulation d’informations liées à l’innovation et à la prise de décision
Résumé
Le style de prise de décision adopté par une organisation peut être crucial pour déterminer ses capacités d’innovation et obtenir un avantage compétitif sur le marché. Cependant, des obstacles peuvent apparaitre affaiblissant les capacités d'innovation de l'organisation. Il s’agit de la dissimulation des connaissances ou de l’information au sein des organisations. Cette dissimulation fait référence à la tentative intentionnelle de soustraire, ou de ne pas transmettre certaines informations sollicitées par un tiers, et qui se manifeste sous trois formes : rester évasif, être rationnel, faire l’ingénu. Cette étude analyse l'effet modérateur de la dissimulation des connaissances sur la relation entre les styles de prise de décision intuitifs et rationnels, et la performance de l’innovation. L’étude a évalué un échantillon d'entreprises colombiennes à l'aide d'équations structurelles. Les résultats montrent que seule la prise de décision rationnelle influence positivement la performance de l’innovation et que cette relation est positive lors de dissimulation rationalisée - une des trois formes de dissimulation des connaissances. Les résultats de cette recherche ouvrent la voie à des investigations sur la dissimulation des connaissances en Colombie et en Amérique latine.
