The role and the function of the teacher has suffered transformations, so much so that a new role and a new function are making presence: the higher distance education tutor. A mixture that comes from the need that the following statements require: learning, self-learning, educational process. The aim is to identifythe tutor as a mediator of the teachinglearning process, through the commercial use of the World Wide Web, known as Web, by the year 2000, giving education a different perspective, more focused on what is known as virtual education.
